This concert was to celebrate and honor founder Richard Brunelle, who led the internationally famous choir from 1966 to 1993. 225+ members and former members came from all over the world (one guy came from China) to honor Dick, whose health has become frail. We were not allowed to film the concert, but I did manage to sneak one little snippet.
This is a very brief excerpt from "A Midsummer Night's Dream," presented by Acme Theatre Co. at an outdoor performance this weekend. May not be of interest to anybody other than the people involved...but the music at the end is great!
I hadn't intended to start the puppies on solid food until next week, but they have been so hungry lately that I went ahead and did it. The results were the predictable mess, but at least they finally slept for a long while!
My aunt Marie's best friend was an alien from outer space who took her to his planet, where she met Abraham Lincoln, among other people. This video only barely touches the surface of Aunt Marie. (Is it any wonder I'm so crazy?)
My mother always said that of all my aunts, I was most like Betsy (and probably least like my mother!). She was another unique person whom I loved very much.
I'm finally back! These little rottie girls are now about 2 weeks old: Tipper, Crystal, and Ruby.

The computer is with Geek Guy and I'm not going to try to deal with video until it comes back and I start trying to figure out where I put all the back-up disks, the registration numbers, etc., etc., etc!
Our friend Jean died yesterday. When Walt turned 50, she came to Davis and sang a song I had written lyrics for, accompanied by members of the band Lawsuit.
My mother's oldest sister was a unique woman who, among other things, was married 13 times, to 12 different men (#5 and #7 were the same guy--and in between their marriages, he was married to one of her sisters!)
In Part 1, my mother lists some of her accomplishments throughout her life.
