Dear Bev, I have said hi before-If you recall, I asked you about an entry that included a photo of dear Nancy Keltner. Anyway, my family also owns Taco Bells here on the east coast and this morning I was looking for videos people made, and found yours. I am so sorry your Taco Bell DIDN'T OBEY THE RULES, which were absolutely no purchase necessary. None, zero, zilch. Here is Boston, folks certainly made the best of it, as our compoany gave out 22,000 free tacos-and that's with some people giving up because of traffic jams and long lines. My husband completely and thoroughly enjoyed himself, working at the store and giving out Tacos, because people were genuinely excited to get them. It probably has to do with the whole Red Sox connection, but it was fun. If I were you, I'm take myself back to your store (you can print the policy from the website http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/fan_forum/tacobell/) and demand TWO free tacos-one for your troubles!
Thanks for your input. I tried to get to your web site to respond, but it's closed except by invitation (as you know). Someone else in the store had the printed policy in his hand and was told that because it was a private franchise, they could do whatever they wanted.
I've done the next best thing to face to face confrontation: I sent a letter to the editor of the local newspaper!
