Whilst I cringe at the thought and it reminds me of the day Bert went to get snipped, he'll be much happier :)
Yes, it's the right thing to do. I've got new kittehs that have just shown up in my backyard. If I can catch them, they get snipped, too. Can't have them out there making more kittehs.
