In 1987, my son Paul played Riff in his high school production of West Side Story. I found the videotape today and was pleased to discover that the production was as good as I remembered it as being. I made a video of a couple of the songs and will post one tonight and one other one tomorrow.

I love West Side Story. Paul did great in his high scool play. He's quite a performer.

My school did WSS in the late 80's, too...mostly because it's just about the best show ever, but also I think there was an element of "Costumes won't be much of a challenge" since everyone was wearing skinny jeans and Converse Hi-Tops at the time anyway.
(I wasn't in the production...not nearly cool enough or talented enough)
