We've agreed that today is "the day" for Kimba.? She has become progressivly feeble and in more pain.? She's reached the point where she can hardly move and is not eating.? I took this video a couple of hours before taking her to the vet.

Poor Kimba, this reduced me to tears. I can only imagine all you're feeling today. My sympathy goes out to you.

You've given Kimba this terrific long life--what a gift. Oh, Bev. This was almost too much for me...I know exactly how you feel. I only hope I can be as strong as you've been in this situation in picking "The Day". I don't know how I'll do it.
I can totally relate to feeling like wishing every minute of my relationship with my dog was perfect and loving but knowing that it wasn't. I want all those minutes back to do over again and I can't have them. It's heartbreaking.
I'm not looking forward to the void that will be left when she's gone. It will feel so odd.
