The Egg Nog Gala
Every year at Christmas, our kids put on a "talent" (I use the term loosely) show, which they called "The Egg Nog Gala," because it was modeled after a "Champagne Gala" which a local theatre company did--only we served egg nog instead of champagne. This gala is from 1983 and is, I believe, the 6th year that they did the show. By this time, David famous one-finger rendition of "Deck the Halls" had become the highlight of the show, sort of!
